what is the difference between starter and control panel..?
Answer Posted / praful nandankar
starter is used to limit the starting current. As in case
of IM if it is directly switched to the supply,it will
draw 3% to 4% of full load current which is not suitable
for other equipments due to large voltage drop.
Control panel is for overall equipments and power systems.
