or test lead?

The first phase for a test cycle is "Requirement analysis".
In this phase the QA department gets the 'Requirements'.
The activity that goes on on this phase is
Requirement analysis:-Reading the requirements for the
project and understand them. All doubts or concerns are
documented in 'Issue log' document. This document is shared
with the client side BA(business analyst by our onsite
coordinators. The doubts are asnwered and the issue log is
sent back to the QA team. Simultaneously the number of test
cases for each requirement is estimated. Then TCI(test case
indexes) or you can call it the test purpose for each test
case is written. It is during this activity that the
Requirement traceability matrix is created. This activity
is done by the Senior test engineers.
Requirement traceability matrix is created in excel sheet.
The columns are RequirementID, RequiremtnName,Number of
test cases planned, Number of test cases authored,
TestCaseIDs, Status(complete/incomplete).
The purpose of creating the RTM is to verify if all the
features mentioned in the Requirements are being tested.
that is, there are test cases to written to test all the
features in the requirements.
