A Transformer is is static device by which we can change
the voltage(either low or high)without changging the supply
frequency.
it does so by Faraday`s Electromagnetic induction law.
It can change the voltage as step up & step down.

I am designing new project sub station with 220 kV / 11 kV, 40 MVA capacity. This project have many recifier sets, which can generate 3rd harmonics.
