A level transmitter can be an application of a level sensor.
a Capacitive Transducer can be used, usually, as a level
translator(but it should be noted that a level translator is
actually more of an electronic circuitry term!).
The principle of the level translator is based on the change
in capacitance due to the change in the overlapping area of
the dielectric,i.e.,the change in the level of the element
thats being measured,can be associated with that of the
dielectric in a suitable capacitive transducer setup.
