The answers by abc,pr is correct. There is concept of
multiple star schema in the DWH for crating the universe.
Actually as per traditional DWH concept there are 3 types
of schemas are available.

1) Star Schema
2) Snow flake Schema
3) Multiple Star Schema or Galaxy Schema.

So before you create universe your data modeler suggest
which schema you have to fallow.
Especially multiple or integrated or galaxy schema is used
for when you are creating universe from different
datamarts.For example you need a report which should
contain data from both investments and assets
datamarts.Inthis case you have to create two different star
schemas for each datamart and linked them with based on
common field with help of conformed dimensions.(conformed
dimensions--these are the dimension tables which are common
for two fact tables).Hence integrated schema can able to
give the information from different datamarts of same
database instead of creating two different universe and
linked them. This is schema level solution. But the
disadvantage of this schema is, since the schema is very
big the performance is less due to more joins in the
schema. To improve the performance of the integrated schema
use the derived tables and indexes, aggregared functions at
database/schema level. Archiving the unused tables also do.
But the possibilities for using this type of schema is
depend upon project requirements and especially for complex
datamarts like financial domain related projects.

I’m familiar with the fact that each user can pay $9.99 a month to build and view reports but what I need to know is how can we embed Power BI into our application so that any users that log into our application can see the reports without the monthly fee. Is there a size limit to creating a Crystal Report? If I run a statement report for all customers it will crash if there are too many customers. I can print all the statements if I select them in batches, but if trying to print all at once Crystal will crash after a few minutes.
