TDS stands for Tax deducted at source. Every organisation
deducting the TDS of employees has to submit it to central
govt before 7th of the following Month. Its return is to be
filled on quarterly basis before 25 of the following month.
TDS rates & sections
193- TDS on Interest on securities 10%
194- Dividend 10%
194B- Winning from Gambling 10%
194BB- Horse races 10%
194c Contractor- 2%
194D- insurance commission 10%
194F Mutual fumd 10%
194H Commission or brokerage-10%
194I Rent -10%
194J Professional Or technical-10
