All electrical machines,house hold equipment is required to
connect with earth (groung)for safety pupose.
When phase will leack to body of electrical machine,throgh
earth only transformer neutral will connect and circuit
will complete and cicuit fuse will blow out(due to draw of
heavy current)and prevent the human from electric shock.
