the condition is obviously of simply supported beam (we may neglect the point loads in form of vehicles for making our calculations simple)....next thing is we need to check the deflection (which will be max at centre) and shear force(we can get shear stress from calculation) and depending upon the allowable deflection n stress(shear)we will put supports one by one...it is general observation that for 1km u need around 20-25 supports...
