why the exhaust temp of gas turbine is more than steam
turbine
Answer Posted / y. nishanth
in gas turbine the state of the working fluid is always same that is 'gas' and total energy supplied is used to rise the temp where as in steam turbine in boiler water absorbs heat to transform in to steam that is latent heat and this is a constant temp process so for same fuel supply gas turbine will have higher temp
