Why transformer is not rotating?

Answer Posted / hitesh choudhary

primary and secondary bound on same core that is stationary,
due to absence of any rotating part only constant power is
delevered on rotor side.
if primary and secondary are seprated and if secondary is
situated on rotor part it starts rotating as induction motor.
