Bank reconcilation statement explain that why there is a
difference between balance shown by the pass book and the
shown by the cash book on a particular date.
reasons:1. chq issued but not yet presented for payment
2. chq paid into bank but not yet cleared

Why in a cash book receipts are debited while the same if received in our books recepits are credited. Why does cash book have a rule to debit receipts and credit payments. I have an S Corporation called Trend Foods Inc. I would like to make a division of that company that services computers and call that Trend Computer Service.
