transformer has two major losses one is copper loss it
depends upon the current , the current unit is Amps ans the
core loss depends upon the voltage it unit is Voltage, so
VA the k mantion for the capacity
why transformer capacity not say in KW?
becaz watts is unit of power already we know the formula of
power, it is current x voltage x cos phi. but the two
losses not depends upon the power factor, incase we r say
in KW it makes a error in calculation. because the KW
include the power factor. I hope that it is correct upto my
knowledge only

why incomer bay is required before transformer bay if there are more than 1 nos. of transformer bay.

HELLO EVERYONE, I RECENTLY HAVE FOUND ONE PROBLEM, I WAS TAKING NO LOAD TRIAL OF AN HT MOTOR 920 MOTOR , 1440 RPM , 6.6 KV, WITH AUTO TRANSFORMER. AT 450 V, LOAD WAS 40 AMP AND SPEED WAS 250 RPM. BUT AS WE INCREASE VOLTAGE FROM 450 TO 480V, LOAD BECOME 41 AND SPEED REDUCED TO SOME RPM . SO WHICH PHENOMENON ACTED HERE FOR REDUCING SPEED.?? AND IS IT HAPPENING ALWAYS OR IT IS RARE? I ALSO HAVE FACED SUCH PROBLEM WITH FEW LT MOTOR ALSO.
