testing comes under both the verification and validation
verification:verifying wheather the process we r following
is according to the agreed upon standards and will meet
requirments
example: verifying all the documnets in the sdlc process
like srs,frs,testplan document ,guides and etc etc
all this documnets are verified for their correctness and
acurency
validation: validating wheather the product/project is
according to the cust requirments
ex:functional testing
so testing verifies and validates
