WHY SECONDARY OF CT SHOULD NEVER BE KEPT OPEN CIRCUITED?

one of my frnd says rite that there produced a very high
voltage across the secondary of ct.but from where its
produced no one told.
as all of we know that
E1/E2=I2/I1
FROM THERE E2=E1*I1/I2
BUT IF WE KEEP SECONDARY OPEN THEN I2=0
E2 BECOMES INFNITY
