If we connect capacitor in series DC supply so what happened?

if the d.c passes through the capacitor ,it would offers
infinite resistance to ac because the capacitive reactance
for d.c is given by
xc=1/(2*3.14*f*C)
where,
c-capacitance
f-frequency
since for d.c the frequency is 0,xc=infinity.hence no
current flows through capacitor
