you have an automatic voltage regulator at home for your
appliances,if the voltage in your area drops from 220v to
190v,does the output of the automatic voltage regulator
drops?or does it retains the 220v output?
Answer Posted / satish kumar dhiman
No the output voltage will not drop but we have to check
the AVR range to control the voltage.
as AVR work on referance voltage produced by another
transformer or device.

3 shows a 415 V, 3-phase generator supplying a 3-phase 415/110 V transformer. Draw the individual and combined impedance diagrams to a base of 10 kVA. Determine the system fault kVA and the fault currents at the 415 V and 110 V busbars for short circuit faults on the transformer input or output terminals. Work in p.u. values of impedances.
