flow coefficient of control valve.its calculated by the
given below formula:
CV = Q/(P/SG)^1/2
where:
CV -flow coefficient
Q -flow of liquid
P-pressure drop across the flow
SG-specific gravity of the liquid
CV=1.17KV => KV=.86CV
KV is metric unit of CV
the flow of water through a valve at 60 oF in US
gallon/minute at a pressure drop of 1 lb/in2.
