These are (generally) contractual requirements of a project.
FAT - Factory Acceptance Test
Once FAT is checked/signed by customer at manufacturing
end, the equipment is ready for dispatch.
SAT - Site Acceptance Test
Once SAT is checked/signed by customer at site, the
equipment is ready for handover.
