What is the need for modulation?
Answer Posted / ch ananth
generally any signal at the time of transmission has a very low frequency due to this it can be attenuated or distorted or noise may be introduced with the signal , therefore signal gets attenuated. for this cause we use modulation , this will impress a carrier signal on the information signal and the data is transmitted with very less attenuation , as due to those effects carrier gets distorted and the signal is transmitted safely.
