Efficiency of the pump is derived from the following
formula.
First BHP of the pump is calculated .
BHP = Q*H *Sp.gravity of the liquid pumped, divided by
367.2 * efficiency of the pump.
Then for calculating the power of driver required to pump,
is calculated by
HP = Q*H*Sp.gravity of liquid /367.2*effciency of
pump*efficency of motor.
Now efficiecny of the pump is calculated from the above as
= HP of motor * efficiency of motor *367.2 / Q*H*Sp.gravity

We are having proplem with the persperation smell in ETT/ECHO room in our cardiac hospital.The 2 Ton of AC is not conditioning the environment. We have to use exhaust fan to through out of the room bad air. Could anyone suggest how to coup with this effectively using chemical engineering. Any permanent solution to neutralise the bad smell.The Air freshners are not doing enough instead making a bad odour.
