Why high Voltages come in multiple of 11, like 11 KV, 33KV,
66 KV, 132 KV etc.

HV voltages are in multiple of 11 only because they are
stepped-up by transformers having fixed voltage ratios.
these ratios cant be in decimals and are only in whole
numbers.
hence are in multiples in 11.

When calculating the speed of a rotor required for a particular frequency of synchronous generator we use the equation 60f/p Is this p is the number of pole pairs of rotor & do we consider the number of pole pairs in the stator is 1?
