why VCB always installed only at HT yards or HT side?
suppose if ACB installed at there means, what will be problem?

in vcb the arc extinguishing medium is vaccum which is
having high arc extinguishing capacity .but in ACB the arc
extinguish medium is air which is having low arc
extinguishing capacity, so if we use the air circuit
breaker in the place of vcb the arc will not extinguish and
may cause the equipment damage.
