Excise Duty is the tax charged on the products manufactured.
In India it's now called CENVAT. In India it's a tax payable
to the Central Government and is governed by a separate Act.

Hi, I am a VAT/CST dealer in Pune. I had got a work contract with other AP state government. can i purchase material in AP state on 2% CST on issuing 'C' form and supply the same material to the AP state government on VAT /CST 5%. As the government departments are not issuing 'D' forms. please guide.

If I have bought goods from a seller in India and finally exported it to some other country, my understanding says I have to issue form H to seller to get cst exemption.
