Actually Voltage is the potential difference...now the
potential difference between two Phases is 440V while the
potential difference between Line and Neutral is
230V...also the Voltage in three phase is given by root 3
into Phase voltage...

In india, according to trade theory above 5 HP motor reqired star delta starter. But we R connect 11 KV motor with 14MW in Direct to line ( With VCB starter combination) Can U Guess, How it is possible ?????
