frequency=(no of poles x speed)/120
no. of pole is cnstant.
by varying speed we can change the frequency.
in india 50Hz is used.
in Canada,Antigua,Bermuda,Colombia,Brazil,Cuba,Mexico etc. 60Hz is used.
