for a software tester you should know...
1. Writing test cases
2. executing the test case
3. SQL.
4. Shell scripting.
5. At least one automation tool very well.That might be
system testing automation tool or perfermance testing.
6. should have the sense and capability to create lots of
scnarios in positive and nagetive aspects.
