Evince webwap tech's QA methodology builds upon widely
acknowledged industry standards of QA and is made up from
the following processes, known as the QA life-cycle:
Design review:
A thorough review of the processes and design of the
product/ application. Subject matter specialists and
designers perform this exercise. Architectural, Development
and Implementation issues are discussed and frozen at this
point in time. Our QA architects get involved at this stage
to determine the potential influence of architecture and
design on the QA process, platform and tools selection.
Unit Testing, Code Walkthrough
The most 'micro' scale of testing to test particular code
modules. Typically done by programmers and not by QA
engineers, as it requires detailed knowledge of the
internal program code. Not always easily done unless the
application has a well-designed architecture with tight
code; may require developing test driver modules or test
harnesses. Code walkthrough entails looking at a programmer
code. The idea of code walkthrough also ensures that a
programmer has used good coding practices and established
coding standards.

Hello. I am not here to answer your question. I jus found a job as software QA engr. And i am totally new to software testing. So can someone pls help me in the following scenario? there is this registration screen, and it contain: One textbox called Nickname which only accept alphanumerical One textbox called Contact which only accept numerical, One textbox called Email which can be filled with alphanumerical and symbol and One button called Register now becos there is so many textboxes, where i can filled with alphabet, number, symbol, "just space", leading zeros, leading space. there will be lots of combination. can someone pls help.. i will be appreciated if u can post the test case of the scenario i mentioned. Lots of Thanks

hi all I have an overall experience of 12 years working in an EDP setup(worked in a manufacturing setup in a German MNC). On my request, I was relieved from my duties in Sep 06 for maternity reasons. However I would like to pursue a career in a software organization as a manual tester. I obtained my proficiency certificate in Software Testing from STAG SOFTWARE LIMITED 2 months ago i.e in May and would now like to continue working in this field. However I am unable to find a job until now. If anybody knows of a opening at bangalore, kindly let me know.
