why the three phase transformer's star point does not
sparks or seperated? while we often see that two phases
touches each other it sparks and ocationaly conductor
breakes out.

Hi,
Three Phase star connected or delta connected windings are
divided with phase angle i.e 360/3=120. So in A.C the phase
sequence is changing alternatively. But any time if you do
the Vector sum of the three componenets Result is zero. If
not spark will occur in that situation....

how to calculate the formula of cable size if motor kw is given
A 400 V, 50 Hz, Δ connected synchronous generator has a field reactance of 0.1 Ω and armature resistance of 0.015 Ω. At full load, the machine supplies 1200 A at 0.8 pf lagging. Under full-load conditions, the friction and windage losses are 40 KW and the core losses are 30 KW. What is the machine’s overall efficiency? Ignore any field circuit losses.
