Why do we generate 3 Phase AC Supply? It is possible to
generate 4
Phase and 5 Phase explain it?
Answer Posted / prakash
no, it is not possible to generater 4 and 5 phases. The main
thing is symmetrical phase diffrence. In 3 phase the phase
diffrence is 120 deg. between each phase.Hence we can
generate 3 phase .We can also generate 6 phases with phase
differance 60 deg.
