Cables are of Three types :-
1) Coaxial cales
2) Fibre optical cable
3) Twisted Pair
Twisted Pair is divided into two types:-
1) Unshielded( UTP )
2) Shielded (STP )
UTP is further Divided into three types:-
1) Straight cable- used to connect dis similar devices like
PC to switch.
2) Cross Cable- used to connect similar devices like
PC to PC, Switch to switch.
