what r the earthing required for commissioning of D.G set?
Answer Posted / skumar
Total four earthing are required for DGs. two No of earthing
for body (i.e Pipe earthing). Another two no of earthing for
Neutral earthing(i.e Copper plate earthing). Both the
earthing are more importance for DG commissioning

What will be the impact on motor performance if a LT motor is rewound with changed motor winding data as given below:- Original winding data: total 04 wires = 02 wires of 17 SWG + 02 wires of 16.5 SWG. Changed Winding data: total 03 wires of 15.5 SWG wire size Motor rating: 160KW, 740RPM, 415V, ID FAN application. Normal Running Current = 95% of FL Current.
how we decide the require size is this for a known current at fuu load?
What is the need of earthing transformer for delta side of a transformer. (Think of a line section between a star/delta transformer at a grid substation and delta/star transformer at a village. An earthing transformer is there at the delta side of the star/delta transformer at grid substation). As there are no ground reference there will not be fault current if a one phase is grounded. Further L-L phase will be sensed by the primary side of star/delta transformer as a L-G fault. So why an earthing transformer is required at delta side
