Ans is :- Protocols are two types:
A) Routable protocol
b) Routing protocol

Routable protocol : those all protocol which can route the
packets from any source to destination with the help of
Address called routable protocol Example IP, IPX, Appletalk
etc. its completely connection less protocol.

Routing Protocol : Those all the protocol which is use to
route two or more different network (subnets) to each other
call routing protocol. routing protocols are three types A)
Links state routing protocol, B) Distance vector routing
protocol c) Hybrid routing protocol.
