The transformer connect on AC suplly,then magnitic flux
prodused by winding.& this flux cut with secondory winding
by air gap.this flux only chngig & alternati flux depen
upone supply.like 1-phase or 3-phase.
rotating magnetic field required to rotating mashine.in
motor produced rotating magnetic field.by phase
displacement.
Any mashine required phase displacement to rotate
mashine.in transformer not phase displacement.so
transformer not rotating.
