can induction motor becomes as a generator. if yes how it is
possible. if there is a squirrel cage rotor.

3ph squirrel cage induction motors can also be used as
generators. The motor will act as generator when its rotor
speed is more than the synchronous speed which increases
the residual magnetism.
i.e. the rotor must be spun just faster than its rated
speed.
