diff between grounding & earthing
Answer Posted / k. c. sharma
Earthing and grounding are same when the electrical system
is located on earth and these two terms can be used
interchangeably. only requirement is that the earthing or
grounding point is to be connected to the general mass of
the earth by means of conductors. However, when the
electrical system is located at other places like in space,
in aeroplane, on the surface of the moon etc., the term
earthing can not be used and only applicable term is
'Grounding'.
