When ever the magnetic flux cuts the conductor, the emf is
induced. at the same time the flux also cut the magnetic
core. it is also a conductor, so emf is induced on that
also. this iron core is a closed path. so a current is
circulated on this core. this current is known as eddy
current.
to minimis this current, the core must be laminated. this
will maked the isolation for current path.
