WHAT IS EDDY CURRENT LOSS?
WHAT IS HYSTERESIS LOSS?
Answer Posted / sreenadh.ch
DUE TO REVERSAL OF MAGNETIC FLUX SOME LOSS WILL OCCUR.EX:
IN DC MACHINES CONDUCTOR ON THE ARMATURE PASSES THROUGH
NORTH POLE AND SOUTH POLE.SO HERE THE MAGNETIC REVERSAL
TAKES PLACE.EDDY CURRENT LOSS WILL OCCUR DUE TO LEAKAGE
FLUX.THIS LEAKAGE FLUX WILL CREATE EDDY EMF IN NEAR BY
METALS AND THIS EMF CREATES EDDY CURRENTS.DUE TO THESE
CURRENTS SOME LOSS WILL OCCUR.
