welding machines are classified based on the type of supply
1.dc welding machine
2. ac welding machine
DC welding machine is further classified into
(1)DCEN direct current electrode negative
(2)DCEP direct current electrode positive
therse DCEN and DCEP are used according to the heat
requirnmrnt on the job area
other classification of dc welding machines is based on the
instruments used
(i)rectifers (ii)transformers
and lot of classification are avaliable
