While all the above are correct
1 HP = 0.746 KW
Horsepower is a north american standard for specifying
motors. KW is the European standard.
Low Voltage motors listed in KW will normally have 3
phase / 50 Hertz as there power supply.
Low Voltage motors listed in Horsepower will normally have
3 phase / 60 hertz as the power supply.
Unless the Engineers are mixing standards when specifying
the motor.
It should be noted that the frequency of the supply power
will affect the RPMs of the motor. In north america 3/60
power the normal nominal RPMS are 3600, 1800, 1200, 900,
while in Europe (3/50) the normal nominal RPMS are 3000,
1500, 1000, 750.

hi, in the event earth grounding is not available in a project, is there any other way to make the elcb work? fyi, i have an instant water heater (6.5kw) installed, however if there is grounding in the heating element inside the heater assembly, i will get grounded. thank you in advance to those who will answer my question.
