Why we choose 400kv,220kv,132kv,66kv,33kv transmission
voltages for transmitting power. Why not other voltage
levels.

You can chose any kind of voltage levels. but as per indian
standards these voltage levels are designed and all
equipment design are conforming to the standards. in
countries other than india there are different voltage
levels . it just like we r using 50 HZ and other countries
60 HZ frequencies. nothing hard and fast logic in selection
of voltage levels
