What are the various load combination in Limit state method?
Answer Posted / g. siva rami reddy
There are nearly 17 considerable load combinations. 1) 1.5
(DL+LL) 2) 1.5 (DL+WL X Positve) 3) 1.5 (DL+WL X Negative)
4) 1.5 (DL+WL Z Positve) 5) 1.5 (DL+WL Z Negative) 6) 1.5
(DL+Seismic X Positive)7) 1.5 (DL+Seismic X Negative) 8) 1.5
(DL+Seismic Z Positive)9) 1.5 (DL+Seismic Z Negative) 10)
1.2 (DL+LL+WL X Pstve) 11) 1.2 (DL+LL+WL X Ngtve)12)1.2
(DL+LL+WL Z Pstve) 13) 1.2 (DL+LL+WL Z Ngtve)14)1.2
(DL+LL+Seismic X PStve)15) 1.2 (DL+LL+Seismic X Ngtve)16)
1.2 (DL+LL+Seismic Z PStve)17) 1.2 (DL+LL+Seismic ZNgtve)
but we will consider seismic in two direction only then
load combination will reduced to 13.
