breather will be connected in conservator...when ever there
is an expansion or contraction takes place in transformer
oil due to temp. changes conservator will take or remove
air through breather....in breather silica gel will be
there...this is used to remove moisture

in dc series motor if field wdg is shorted then
why not starting switch first connect in direct on line starter?????
