why AM is used for video and
FM is used for audio in tv.

Bandwidth in AM is 2fm and that in FM is 2(fm + dF) dF is
very large. As video signal itself has a large Bandwidth If
we go for FM It will take very high Bandwidth. So with a
limited bandwidth channel We will be able to transmit very
few Video channels. Hence We use AM.
But noise reduction is better in FM. As Audio signal has
very less bandwidth we can afford to use FM and have Audio
signals with less noise.
