Q:Hi mam my name is shruti i have done b.com honours and secured 70% marks in aggregate now i am confused in choosing mba or mfc as i want to go in finance field i have given mat exam but my score was not good enough its 55%tile marks i just want to know that is mfc is as good as mba programme or not i want to pursue mfc from jai narain vyas university jodhpur rajasthan and what will be the carrer opportunities in mfc
A:Dear Shruti, The focus of MFC is going to be only Finance and an MBA will be more managerial oriented where you have the flexibility choose from specializations such as Finance, HR, Marketing, Operations & Systems. If you have inclination towards the technical field, then pursuing MFC will be better option, but if it is going to be more generic in nature, then MBA should be the choice. MFC will open opportunities in the financial sector banks & financial institutes, but the profile and the scope would completely depend on the skills and knowledge gained by you. The application of both the courses will be different, so think about each option well, and then choose. All the Best Team Growth Centre (ISO 9001:2000)
