inverter :-single conversion ac to dc(mains mode) or dc to
ac(battery mode) so change over time is there.
ups :- 1)on line ups
2) off line ups
on line ups :- double conversion ac to dc & than dc to
ac so when no mains there is already dc to ac conversion so
no change over time(ups always on battery mode)
off line ups :- it is inverter with fast change over time &
with avr at input mains.
