why Current conduction through electron?

Answer Posted / soumya

Every material is made up of atoms. In an atom electrons are
present outside the nucleus and with supply of energy it is
easier to remove the outermost electron. Electrons are the
charge carriers. So current conduction is through
electrons.Even holes are the absence of electron and
produced due to shift of electron to an electron defficient
atom. Therefore current conduction is through electron.
