yes. when beam cross over 750mm height, side or face
reinforcement are prvided. this is done for shear strength.
distrubution bar- when we consider one way slab then
distribution are recquired for bonding the main bar. no
load is taken by distribution bar. but when we consider two
way slab distribution are provided to take load.
