A 11000/415V distribution transformer is fed 415V upon it's LT
side,Do I get 11000V upon it's Primary side ?
Answer Posted / t.somasundaram
in 11000/415v transformer,if we apply the 415 volt to the
secondry ,we can't get 11000 volt at the primary
side.because , some power losses will be occured .so the
voltage drop will be occured .so the transformer can't
produce the 11000 v at the primary .and also the 415 v is
not enough to produce voltage of 11000v.thus we can't get
the 11000v at primary for corresponding 415v secondry voltage
