why c# is pronounced as C-sharp instead of pronouncing it as
C-hash? is there any technical reason behind it?

I dont think there is a technical reason, but # in the music
world is pronounced as 'sharp'. So I guess the one who
coined C# looked to be interested in music than as
pronouncing it as hash.
