what is the discharge pressure formula, for calculating
discharge pressure?
Answer Posted / p.kithan
For calculating the discharge pressure in case of
centrifugal pump this formula can be used,
H=(Q * $* g )/ (# * P )
H=Head (m)
Q=flow rate(m3/sec)
$=Density(kg/m3)
#=Efficiency
g=accleration due gravity(m/sec2)
P=power consumption(kW)
now, Discharge pressure=Head * Density of the fluid
Discharge pressure in kg/cm2(By conversion from m to
cm)
